The Post-Pill Package is the ideal package for women who just recently stopped “the pill” or plan to stop within the next 6-8 weeks. The general recommendation is to wait at least 3 full menstrual cycles until testing your sex hormones. This is to ensure your brain-ovarian connection is back on tract as best as it can be. Cortisol and thyroid testing may be recommended earlier depending on your situation.

If you stopped taking the birth control pill in the last 4 weeks, the Post-Pill Package is still a great option. Your first return visit will be scheduled after your second period off “the pill” instead of your first. No further changes to the package schedule should be necessary.
If you stopped taking the birth control pill more than 4 weeks ago but less than 3 months ago, an initial visit would be recommended instead of the Post-Pill Package.

Comprehensive bloodwork must be completed at a Quest Diagnostics location on day 2, 3, 4, or 5 of your menstrual cycle. It also measures testosterone, other androgens, and estrogen metabolites to evaluate how effectively your body is detoxifying estrogen. Absolutely! Depending on which tests your PCP agrees to run, the blood work fee within this package will be adjusted accordingly. This only applies to the comprehensive bloodwork. Your PCP will not be able to order the toxin testing, as this test is not utilized by conventional medicine.

If you’ve had labs run in the last 3-6 months, you may not have to repeat those tests. It is highly unlikely that you’ve had all the testing done that is recommended within this package. Adjustments can be made to the package price if certain tests have been run recently.

This depends on your timeline!
You must wait a minimum of 3 months after starting your preconception care plan before actively trying to conceive. This is because it takes a minimum of 3 months for any positive health changes to impact egg and sperm quality.
Ideally, you want to start the Preconception Care Package 6-12 months before actively trying to conceive. The detox protocol lasts 3-6 months which is then followed by 3-6 months of nutrient optimization. If in a time crunch, the two phases can be combined.
